As a member of Boston Firefighters Credit Union you are eligible to enroll for $3000 of no-cost TruStage® Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance underwritten by CMFG Life Insurance. AD&D insurance can pay a cash benefit to your beneficiary if you die in an accident or suffer a serious injury.

What’s covered?

Once you enroll, AD&D insurance pays a cash benefit to your beneficiary if you die from an accident or you are seriously injured. Credit union members ages 18 and over can also choose to increase their protection (Member Only Plan) or their family's (Family Plan) with up to an additional $300,000 in coverage.

Acceptance is guaranteed and there are no medical questions.‭‬‬‬‬

AD&D for Cancer, Heart Attack, and Stroke

For Several years we have been offering TruStage Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage through our agreement with TruStage Insurance Agency, LLC.  To refresh your memory, you can sign up in just a few minutes to claim your $3,000 of AD&D coverage at NO cost to you and paid for by the Credit Union.

Additional amounts of AD&D coverage are available for purchase with no health questions and no medical exam needed.  We are excited to announce if you choose to purchase an Additional Coverage amount, you can now add the Cancer Coverage or Cancer Heart Attack & Stroke Coverage to your AD&D insurance.  This coverage pays a benefit to you or your beneficiaries after a covered diagnosis.  The money you receive can help pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses, relieving financial stress while you focus on getting well.  Definitions of these illnesses for insurance purposes are contained in the policy.
